TV Times Café

"The future of themed restaurants is in the past" says Kirk Holcomb as he introduces the "TV Times Café," a unique new television themed restaurant. Opening winter of 1996, "TV Times Café" will be located on International Drive, Or1ando, Florida near Universal Studios, Wet-N-Wild, Sea World and Walt Disney World.

Kirk Holcomb, creator of the "TV Times Café" project has joined forces with entrepreneur John Moutner, founder of the "Nutty Bavarian" cinnamon glazed nuts ... President Clinton's favorite snack food ... to produce this dynamic concept. "TV Times Café" is funded by a small group of private investors,

Buffalo Bob Smith (Howdy Doody Fame) Butch Patrick (Eddie Munster) and Paul Petersen (Donna Reed) are "Celebrity Owners" and will make frequent appearances to meet guests and sign autographs. Other well known television celebrities will be on hand 15-20 weekends a year arranged through and in an effort to promote Paul Petersen's "A Minor Consideration," a group of nearly 350 former Kid Stars. Special cast reunion weekends are also planned.

Guests enter the restaurant through a giant crashed television. Surrounded by over 3000 toys (dolls, games, lunch boxes, etc.) and nearly 1000 autographed pieces, costumes and props based on television shows of the last 50 years, guests relive memories while enjoying excellent food, drinks and service. In addition to heavy visual theming, celebrity video and audio interludes will entertain guests throughout the complex including "Cathode Ray's" bar and the gift shop. Exiting through the gift shop, guests are able to purchase old and new television memorabilia. Many one of a kind, autographed, rare and limited edition collectibles' will be available along with a wide variety of exclusive "TV Times Café" merchandise.

Buffalo Bob Is considered The "Father of Children's Television". Howdy Doody's 50th television anniversary is 1997. A special display of memorabilia from Bob's private collection will be on display at "TV Times Café" throughout the year high-lighting his legendary career.
