How You Can Help

Webmaster's note:

As you read about the effort A Minor Consideration is putting out on behalf of children, it's important to remember who the "other side" is. They represent some of the highest funded, most profitable businesses in the world. As you might expect, this sometimes creates a David and Goliath style atmosphere.

The workers for AMC do their jobs without compensation - and have a strong tendency to reach into their pocketbooks to help support the organization. We work hard to make every cent count directly toward our goal of assisting children in the Entertainment Industry. We don't mind playing the part of David in this engagement; after all, we know how that conflict ended and expect this to have the same conclusion. Regardless, we can't do it all by ourselves - especially faced with the resources controlled by the studios.

There are two things you can do to help us out. First: help us publicize what's happening with these children. Tell others. If you have a web site, link to us. Don't be afraid to write letters; right now it's incredibly important to write the LA District attorney.

Secondly: Consider making a donation to A Minor Consideration. We are a federally recognized non-profit organization; all contributions are tax-deductible. Your contributions will be used directly to support our education and advocacy work, no worker for the organization receives a salary.
