The Work Permit/Coogan Mess

"We are working hard to fix this Ten Day Expiration of the Work Permit process in California, and I apologize to all of you who have been driven to tears by this new wrinkle. The troublesome language was NOT created by AMC, the Young Performers Committee, or The Industry. We'll leave that story for another time, however, and share this good news for those of you trying to open a Coogan Account before your Work Permit expires.

Hey Paul,

I just wanted to let you know that we at the AFTRA-SAG Federal Credit Union have made the proposed changes to our Coogan product and now offer no minimum deposit required, imaged deposits, companion accounts (for the other 85% of the money) with checking, Visa Debit cards and limited access for the minor, and investment services. Sag “eligible” minors may open accounts.

All of our accounts can be opened over the internet within a few days or for same day service opened at any of our branches.
