"I am very happy that as a result of my case that the Court of Appeals for the first time in the legal history of California has ruled that a person who is not a relative of minors and who has never met them may still file a petition in the California courts seeking to protect minors' financial interests if sufficent facts are alleged. This will help to protect children in the future."
