The echoes of 2006 are all around us this morning as we await word on the whereabouts and well-being of Walter and Judy’s son, Andrew Koenig.

Four years ago the fate of Barry Cowsill and Joe Pichler was on our mind. Barry’s body was finally found on January 6th 2006, another Katrina victim. Joe Pichler’s fate is still unresolved. No remains have ever been found.

When you have a moment today, give a thought to not just Andrew Koenig, but the tens of thousands of people who have gone missing and caused untold anguish for their families.
